A flavorful Southern grilled chicken recipe marinated in a creamy Alabama white sauce that adds a delightful tang.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Create the Alabama White Sauce by mixing mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
  2. Marinate chicken breasts in some of the sauce for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat to prepare for grilling.
  4. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, until cooked through.
  5. Serve the grilled chicken with the remaining Alabama white sauce on the side for dipping.
