A delightful blend of sweet and savory with flaky croissants, creamy goat cheese, and crisp apples, perfect for brunch or lunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 Croissants
  • 1 medium Apple, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz Goat Cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • Fresh Arugula (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the croissants in half horizontally.
  3. Mix the softened goat cheese, honey, and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Spread the goat cheese mixture on the bottom half of each croissant.
  5. Layer the thinly sliced apples on top of the goat cheese.
  6. Add arugula on top of the apple slices, if desired.
  7. Top with the other half of the croissant.
  8. Warm the sandwiches in the oven for about 5-7 minutes.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Pairs well with mixed greens dressed lightly with lemon vinaigrette or herbal tea.
