Delightful and flavorful wraps made with ground chicken and fresh veggies, wrapped in crisp lettuce leaves.

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup diced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves (butter or iceberg) for wraps

Instructions

  1. Sauté the ground chicken: In a skillet over medium heat, add the vegetable oil. Once it shimmers, add the ground chicken. Cook until brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add the fresh veggies: Now, add in the diced mushrooms, bell peppers, and green onions. Sauté until softened and vibrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Infuse with garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and let it bloom in the pan for an additional minute.
  4. Power up the flavor: Pour in the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix and heat through for a couple of minutes.
  5. Assemble your wraps: Spoon the chicken mixture into the lettuce leaves, wrapping them up. Enjoy every bite!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding crushed peanuts or sesame seeds as toppings. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
