A warm croissant filled with crispy bacon, a perfectly cooked egg, and a slice of melty cheese for a comforting breakfast experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 croissant
  • 2 slices of bacon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 slice of cheese (cheddar or American)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the bacon in the skillet until it’s crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Remove the bacon and let it drain on paper towels.
  4. Crack the egg in the same skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook to your desired doneness.
  5. Slice the croissant in half and toast it lightly in the skillet until golden brown.
  6. Layer the crispy bacon, cooked egg, and cheese inside the croissant.
  7. Add a pat of butter on the croissant while toasting, if desired.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Add avocado or a slice of tomato for added freshness. Store leftovers separately in airtight containers.
