  • 1/2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and chopped bacon
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped chives (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Fold in the shredded Gruyere cheese and cooked bacon.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until puffed and set.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the tin.
  7. Garnish with chopped chives if desired and serve warm.

Notes

These egg bites can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 5 days. They also freeze well for up to 3 months.
