Ingredients

  • 1 cup sweet rice flour (mochi flour)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Mash the bananas until smooth.
  2. Combine the sweet rice flour and sugar with the mashed bananas.
  3. Add water gradually, stirring continuously.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a microwave-safe dish and cover it with a damp cloth.
  5. Microwave for about 2 minutes.
  6. Stir the mixture and microwave for another 2 minutes.
  7. Dust a clean surface with cornstarch.
  8. Pour the mochi mixture onto the surface and let it cool.
  9. Knead the dough until smooth.
  10. Cut into pieces and serve.
