Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef (sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef slices with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the same pan, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli florets and beef broth to the pan, cover, and cook until broccoli is tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the pan, stir to combine, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.

Notes

Slice beef thinly against the grain for tenderness. Add vegetables like bell peppers or snow peas for extra nutrition.
