Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons blackening seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Rub the salmon fillets with olive oil and sprinkle blackening seasoning generously.
  3. Carefully place the salmon onto the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. While the salmon is cooking, warm the corn tortillas on the grill or in a skillet for about a minute on each side.
  5. Once the salmon is ready, use a fork to flake the fish into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Take a warm tortilla, and place a generous amount of flaked salmon in the center and top with cabbage, avocado, and sour cream.
  7. Serve your tacos with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

For an extra kick, consider adding diced jalapeños. If you can’t find blackening seasoning, make your own blend with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne.
