A classic BLT sandwich featuring crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and creamy mayonnaise between toasted bread.

Ingredients

  • Bacon
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Bread
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice.
  4. Layer fresh lettuce leaves, slices of ripe tomato, and the crispy bacon on one slice of bread.
  5. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over the layers.
  6. Top it off with the other slice of bread, mayo side down.
  7. Cut the sandwich in half and serve on a plate.

Notes

For a twist, consider adding avocado or jalapeños.
