Deliciously moist blueberry muffins that capture the essence of homemade baking, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients by whisking together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Combine the melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract in another bowl, whisking until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined; gently fold in the fresh blueberries.
  5. Fill the muffin cups with batter, filling each about two-thirds full.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Cool the muffins for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
