A delightful and indulgent chocolate cake made easy with a box mix, layered with caramel, pecans, and chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour half of the batter into the prepared cake pan, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter and sprinkle half of the chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the remaining batter on top, covering the layer below.
  6. Drizzle the rest of the caramel sauce and sprinkle the remaining pecans and chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Ensure eggs are at room temperature for better mixing. This cake pairs well with vanilla ice cream or a cup of coffee.
