A delightful fusion of brownies and cookies that delivers a rich, fudgy texture and luscious chocolate flavor in each bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Optional: chocolate chips or nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix together the cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Gradually stir in the flour until just combined. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or nuts.
  5. Use a cookie scoop to drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the tops are glossy and cracked.
  7. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Can be paired with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce for an indulgent dessert. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
