A delicious and vibrant Cajun shrimp pasta dish that brings the spirit of New Orleans to your dining table with its rich flavors and creamy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces pasta (like fettuccine or linguine)
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Once it’s al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, being careful not to let it burn.
  5. Cook the shrimp, sprinkling Cajun seasoning over them, until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add the halved cherry tomatoes and cook until softened.
  7. Stir in the heavy cream, reducing the heat and combining everything into a luscious sauce.
  8. Combine with cooked pasta and grated Parmesan cheese, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Adjust Cajun seasoning according to heat preference. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
