- 1 cup water
- 2 cups strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup strawberry jam
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to package instructions for the angel food cake.
- Combine the angel food cake mix with 1 cup of water and mix according to package instructions.
- Pour the batter into an ungreased pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes until golden.
- Cool the cake completely before removing it from the pan.
- Mix the sliced strawberries with the strawberry jam in a bowl.
- Slice the cooled cake into layers.
- Layer the cake with whipped cream and strawberry filling, repeating until all layers are stacked.
- Finish with whipped cream on top.
- Dust with powdered sugar and add additional strawberries if desired.
