Savory cheeseburger goodness wrapped in warm, chewy pretzel dough, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package (1 lb) frozen pretzel dough
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in ketchup, mustard, pickles, and cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
  4. Thaw the pretzel dough according to package instructions and roll it out into small discs.
  5. Place a spoonful of the cheeseburger mixture in the center of each disc.
  6. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal tightly.
  7. Boil water in a large pot and add baking soda. Briefly dip each filled pretzel bomb in the baking soda solution.
  8. Place the dipped pretzel bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy the deliciousness!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for the best texture.
