A comforting and customizable casserole packed with flavors reminiscent of pizza, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Biscuit dough (preferably Halal-certified)
  • 1 lb ground meat (beef or turkey, Halal-certified)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup assorted pizza toppings (such as bell peppers, onions, olives, or halved cherry tomatoes)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the oven to 350°F (175°C) and gather all your ingredients.
  2. Cook the ground meat in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until browned.
  3. Combine the cooked meat with pizza sauce and let simmer for a couple of minutes.
  4. Prepare the biscuit dough by cutting each biscuit into quarters.
  5. Assemble the casserole by mixing the meat and sauce with the biscuit pieces and assorted toppings.
  6. Add shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the mixture in a greased casserole dish.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuit dough is cooked and cheese is golden.
  8. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use Halal-certified ingredients wherever possible. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses and toppings.
