A hearty pasta dish featuring bowtie pasta tossed in a creamy mozzarella sauce, paired with tender chicken and aromatic garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the bowtie pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Cook the chicken breasts in the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  4. Rest and slice the chicken after removing it from the skillet.
  5. Prepare the cream sauce by adding the heavy cream to the same skillet and bringing it to a simmer. Stir in the mozzarella cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Combine the cooked bowtie pasta and sliced chicken, mixing well to incorporate.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding some spinach or sun-dried tomatoes. If the sauce thickens too much, add a little more heavy cream or pasta water.
