A delightful dessert blending creamy mascarpone, sweet cherries, and amaretto liqueur layered with coffee-soaked ladyfingers.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup amaretto liqueur
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 cup cherries, pitted and chopped
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Whip the heavy cream and sugar until soft peaks form.
  2. Fold in the mascarpone cheese until smooth.
  3. Prepare the coffee and amaretto mixture.
  4. Dip each ladyfinger quickly into the coffee mixture.
  5. Layer the dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  7. Add half of the chopped cherries over the mascarpone layer.
  8. Repeat the layers with remaining ingredients.
  9. Chill the tiramisu for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

Use quality mascarpone and fresh cherries for the best flavor. Serve with espresso or a light dessert wine.
