A comforting casserole featuring tender chicken, creamy ingredients, and a crispy stuffing topping.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package (6 ounces) stuffing mix
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth until smooth.
  3. Add the shredded chicken, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the mixture and stir well.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Combine the stuffing mix with 2 cups of boiling water and 2 tablespoons of butter, stirring until moistened.
  6. Spread the prepared stuffing over the chicken mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until heated through and the stuffing is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Can be frozen before baking.
