Easily prepared crispy chicken cutlets with a delicious golden-brown crust, perfect for any weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • Olive oil or butter for frying

Instructions

  1. Start by pounding the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
  2. Next, set up a breading station with seasoned flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the flour, then into the eggs, and finally coat in breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Carefully place the breaded chicken cutlets into the skillet and fry until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  6. Once cooked, transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease.
  7. Serve warm with a slice of lemon, if desired.
