Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and bake the chocolate cake according to the package instructions. As the sweet aroma fills your kitchen, let it cool completely.
  2. Slice the chocolate cake into two luscious layers. Be sure to use a serrated knife for a clean cut.
  3. Assemble one layer of cake at the bottom of a springform pan, serving as the foundation for our ice cream layer.
  4. Spread a layer of softened vanilla ice cream generously over the cake, allowing it to cascade down the sides slightly.
  5. Sprinkle the chocolate chip cookie dough chunks over the ice cream layer for even distribution.
  6. Place the second layer of cake on top, gently pressing down to ensure everything holds together.
