Delightful baked donuts filled with a creamy peanut butter center and topped with a chocolate glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter, for filling
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, for glaze
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder, for glaze
  • 23 tablespoons milk, for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan to ensure the donuts come out easily.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until you achieve a smooth and creamy mixture.
  4. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Pour batter into the donut pan, filling each mold halfway to give room for the peanut butter filling.
  6. Use a piping bag to add a small dollop of peanut butter into the center of each donut.
  7. Top with more batter to cover the filling completely.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Once baked, allow the donuts to cool down in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  10. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and milk in a bowl until smooth.
  11. Once cooled, dip the tops of the donuts in the glaze.
  12. Let the glaze set before serving.
