A delightful dessert combining rich chocolate and tart raspberries, perfect for special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine flour, powdered sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add softened butter and egg yolk, and mix to form a dough.
  4. Press the dough into a tart pan, then chill for 30 minutes.
  5. Bake the tart shell for about 20 minutes until golden. Let it cool.
  6. Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until just simmering.
  7. Remove from heat, then add chopped chocolate and butter.
  8. Stir until smooth.
  9. Pour the chocolate ganache into the cooled tart shell.
  10. Top the tart with fresh raspberries.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Use high-quality chocolate for a richer flavor. You can substitute raspberries with other berries for a variation.
