Delightfully crunchy pretzels coated in a rich toffee mixture, perfect for gatherings and sweet cravings.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces pretzels (small or regular)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (alcohol-free)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Sea salt (optional; for sprinkling on top)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  3. Mix in the packed brown sugar and granulated sugar, stirring until bubbly.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and remove from heat.
  5. Combine the pretzels into a large bowl and pour the toffee mixture over them.
  6. Fold in chopped nuts if using.
  7. Transfer the coated pretzels onto the baking sheet in an even layer.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  9. Sprinkle with sea salt once baked and allow to cool.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
