Deliciously gooey Rice Krispie treats inspired by churros, rolled in cinnamon sugar and perfect for sharing.

  • 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Melt Butter and Marshmallows: In a large saucepan over low heat, combine the butter and mini marshmallows. Stir gently until melted and smooth.
  2. Mix in Rice Krispies: Once your butter and marshmallow mixture is silky, add in the Rice Krispies cereal and fold until every piece is coated.
  3. Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar: In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Form and Coat the Treats: Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish, pour in the Rice Krispie mixture, and press down evenly. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  5. Cool and Cut: Let the treats cool for about 15 minutes before cutting into squares or rectangles.
