A delightful twist on classic Rice Krispie treats, infused with cinnamon sugar and buttery goodness, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat until completely liquid.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter, stirring constantly until smooth and creamy.
  3. Remove the pan from heat and gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until coated.
  4. Mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, then sprinkle it over the Rice Krispie mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and press it down evenly with greased hands or a spatula.
  6. Cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then cut into squares or rectangles.

Notes

For added flavor, consider sprinkling more cinnamon on top or drizzling with melted chocolate.
