Classic Fried Rice

A comforting and versatile dish, perfect for busy weeknights, filled with flavor and memories.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the mixed vegetables to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and crack the eggs into the other side, scrambling them until just cooked.
  4. Add the cooked rice along with the soy sauce and sliced green onions, gently mixing everything together.
  5. Stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with extra green onions if desired.

Notes

Use day-old rice for best texture. Customize with your favorite vegetables or proteins.
