Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
Combine 1 cup of Coca-Cola, 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, and 1/2 cup of vegetable oil in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat.
Whisk together 2 large eggs and 1/2 cup of buttermilk in a large bowl.
Carefully add the boiled Coca-Cola mixture to the wet ingredients and stir to combine.
Mix 2 cups of flour, 1/2 cup of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt in another bowl.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Let the cake cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
