Delightful cookies with a chewy texture and melty chocolate chips, perfect for creating memories.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each scoop.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

For extra-chewy cookies, add an additional 1/2 cup of rolled oats. Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
