Delicious baked mushrooms filled with a creamy crab filling, perfect as an appetizer for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 12 large mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Create the creamy crab filling by mixing together cream cheese, crab meat, garlic, parsley, chives, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stuff each mushroom cap with generous spoonfuls of the crab mixture.
  4. Optional: Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the stuffed mushrooms.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the stuffed caps.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until mushrooms are tender and tops are golden.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
