  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter
  • 8 oz Cream cheese (or soft goat cheese)
  • 1 cup Grated cheddar (or hard cheese of choice)
  • 1 tsp Sea salt (adjust based on cheese choice)
  • 1/4 cup Water (or more cream, adjust for desired thickness)
  • Optional spices & herbs (customize with favorite seasonings)

Instructions

  1. Combine the heavy whipping cream and unsalted butter in a small saucepan. Heat gently over medium-low heat until the butter melts and the mixture starts to warm.
  2. Melt the cream cheese and grated cheddar into the sauce, stirring until fully blended.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle bubble, stirring to prevent curdling, then reduce heat.
  4. Stir vigorously until smooth. For a thicker consistency, return to low heat for an additional 3-5 minutes.
