A modern twist on a classic creamy chicken dish featuring Boursin cheese for an elegant touch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 each chicken breast boneless skinless
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 5.2 ounce Boursin cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through, then transfer to a plate.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, add the minced garlic to the skillet, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and stir, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add the Boursin cheese and whisk continuously until the cheese has melted completely and the sauce is smooth.
  7. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the top, and simmer for an additional 2 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the chicken and serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure chicken breasts are pounded evenly for consistent cooking. Substitute for a lighter version if desired.
