  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Once they’re tender but still slightly firm, drain them and set aside.
  2. Brown the sausage in a large skillet with olive oil over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in the skillet for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Create the creamy base by pouring in the heavy cream and stirring to combine. Allow to come to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese gradually, mixing until fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Combine the cooked tortellini in the skillet, gently tossing them in the creamy sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored for up to 3 days. Consider adding vegetables like spinach for a nutrient boost. Adjust seasonings to your taste.
