A comforting dish combining smoky pork chops and creamy ranch sauce with tender potatoes, perfect for cozy family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and half of the ranch seasoning mix.
  3. Sear the pork chops in a skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Mix the heavy cream with the remaining ranch seasoning in a separate bowl.
  5. Layer the diced potatoes in a baking dish and pour the ranch cream mixture over them.
  6. Place the seared pork chops on top of the potatoes.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the pork is cooked through and the potatoes are tender.

Notes

For maximum flavor, marinate pork chops in the seasoning for at least 30 minutes. Leftover ranch seasoning works well in salads.
