Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 pound ground chicken or beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup assorted toppings (diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sliced jalapeños, or avocado)
  • To taste sour cream or Greek yogurt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Open the tube of crescent rolls, unroll the dough, and lay it into a greased pizza pan or baking sheet, pressing the seams together.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground chicken or beef until fully cooked.
  4. Once the meat is cooked, drain any excess fat and stir in the taco seasoning mix with a splash of water.
  5. Spread the seasoned meat evenly over the crescent roll base.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese generously on top.
  7. Place your assembled taco pizza in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
  8. Once out of the oven, let the pizza cool slightly and top it with your choice of fresh toppings.
  9. Cut into wedges, serve hot, and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure to pinch the seams of the crescent dough well to prevent leaks. Feel free to experiment with different toppings based on your taste preferences.
