Deliciously crispy roasted Brussels sprouts paired with a sweet and tangy honey balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 clove, minced
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon toasted pine nuts or pecans for topping
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, seasoning with salt and black pepper.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Combine balsamic vinegar, honey, and minced garlic in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Reduce the heat and cook until the glaze slightly thickens, about 5 minutes.
  7. Drizzle the glaze over roasted Brussels sprouts and toss gently.
  8. Sprinkle with optional toppings if desired.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For variations, try adding red pepper flakes for heat or using maple syrup instead of honey.
