Ingredients

  • Soft chocolate chip cookies
  • Creamy vanilla ice cream
  • Mini M&M’s
  • Rich ganache
  • Butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Granulated sugar
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla extract
  • All-purpose flour
  • Baking soda
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan to prevent sticking.
  2. Creaming together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared cake pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Layer the cooled cookie base in a dish, adding ice cream and M&M’s.
  9. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used.
  10. Drizzle the ganache over the top layer.
  11. Freeze the cake for a few hours to set completely.

Notes

The cake can be made in advance and frozen. Let it thaw before serving for easier slicing.
