Delectable brownies infused with a creamy sweet-tart cream cheese swirl and topped with colorful sprinkles, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Colorful sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat, then stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well blended.
  3. Combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add this dry mixture to the butter mixture until just combined.
  4. Layer half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Prepare the cream cheese swirl by beating cream cheese with powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Spoon this mixture over the brownie batter and swirl it gently.
  6. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese layer, smoothing it out as needed.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Cool the brownies, then sprinkle colorful sprinkles on top before chilling to set.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Store leftover brownies in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature, or refrigerate for up to a week. They can be frozen for up to 3 months.
