A delightful dessert featuring an airy meringue base topped with whipped cream and seasonal fruits, perfect for Easter celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • Seasonal fruits (such as strawberries, kiwis, and passion fruit) for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 225°F (110°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the egg whites in a clean mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add the sugar, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form and the mixture is glossy.
  4. Fold in the vanilla extract and vinegar.
  5. Spoon the meringue onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into nests with a well in the center.
  6. Bake for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until the meringue is dry and can lift off the parchment easily.
  7. Let it cool completely before adding whipped cream and seasonal fruits.
  8. Fill each nest with whipped cream and top with your choice of fruits.

Notes

For optimal texture, store meringue and toppings separately until ready to serve.
