A comforting and nutritious bread made from chickpeas, perfect for spreading with hummus or avocado.

  • 1 cup chickpeas, cooked
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Combine the cooked chickpeas, water, olive oil, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and nutritional yeast in a blender.
  3. Blend until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
  4. Pour the chickpea mixture into the prepared loaf pan, ensuring it is evenly spread out.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool for a few minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
