These Greek Turkey Burgers are a delicious fusion of healthy ground turkey, creamy feta, and refreshing tzatziki sauce, bringing the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean to your table.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup tzatziki sauce
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and cucumber for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground turkey, feta cheese, tzatziki sauce, red onion, garlic, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Mix gently until just combined, avoiding overworking the meat.
  3. Form the mixture into patties about 1 inch thick.
  4. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil it.
  5. Cook the patties for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F/75°C).
  6. Serve on burger buns with lettuce, tomato, and cucumber, and drizzle more tzatziki on top if desired.

Notes

Don’t overmix the turkey meat to keep the burgers moist. Use a meat thermometer for perfect cooking.
