A delightful fusion of grilled cheese and pizza flavors, featuring gooey mozzarella and zesty pepperoni.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup of pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter. Allow it to melt and coat the bottom of the skillet.
  2. Place one slice of bread in the skillet and layer it with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.
  3. Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top, if using, to elevate the flavor.
  4. Top with the second slice of bread and press down gently.
  5. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until crispy and cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For a healthier option, use whole grain bread and turkey pepperoni. Experiment with different cheeses and add extra veggies for variation.
