A comforting and classic grilled cheese sandwich, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 8 slices of cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your cooking surface. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  2. Butter the bread. Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place 4 slices of bread in the skillet, buttered side down.
  4. Add a slice of cheese on top of each bread slice in the skillet.
  5. Top each cheese slice with another slice of bread, buttered side facing up.
  6. Cook for 2-4 minutes until the bottom bread slice is golden brown and the cheese starts to melt.
  7. Flip each sandwich carefully using a spatula.
  8. Cook for an additional 2-4 minutes until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is completely melted.
  9. Remove the grilled cheese sandwiches from the skillet.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious grilled cheese sandwiches!

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
