Delicious grilled shrimp skewers marinated with garlic, lemon, and spices, perfect for summer cookouts.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Skewers (if using wooden, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
  2. Marinate the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the bowl of marinade and toss well. Let them marinate for about 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Assemble the Skewers: Thread the shrimp onto the skewers, leaving space between each shrimp.
  5. Grill the Shrimp: Cook the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side until opaque.
  6. Serve Hot: Remove skewers from the grill and serve immediately with extra lemon juice.

Notes

Soak wooden skewers for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning. Customize spices in the marinade to your taste.
