Quick and nourishing Ground Turkey Rice Bowls drizzled with irresistible Bang Bang Sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For Bang Bang Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • Lime wedges, green onions, and cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sauté the ground turkey: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground turkey, season it with salt and pepper, and cook until it’s beautifully browned and fully cooked through.
  2. Add the mixed vegetables: In the same skillet, toss in the mixed vegetables and soy sauce. Stir everything together, allowing the vegetables to soften until tender yet still vibrant.
  3. Craft the Bang Bang Sauce: While the turkey and veggies are cooking, prepare the Bang Bang Sauce by combining mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a bowl. Mix until well blended, tasting to adjust sweetness or spice as you like.
  4. Final assembly: To serve, scoop a generous portion of rice into a bowl. Top it with the turkey and vegetable mixture. Drizzle the luscious Bang Bang Sauce generously over the top, and garnish with fresh lime wedges, chopped green onions, and cilantro for that extra splash of flavor.

Notes

Leftover turkey and vegetable mixture can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to a month. Perfect for busy weeknight dinners.
