A nostalgic dish of Hashbrown Casserole that combines crispy hashbrowns with creamy sour cream and rich cheese for a delightful meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of hashbrowns (defrosted)
  • 2 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar works great!)
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine hashbrowns, cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  5. Serve hot as a delightful side dish or main course!

Notes

For extra flavor, add cooked bacon or sautéed onions. Swap cream of chicken soup with vegetable-based soup for a vegetarian option.
