- 1 box angel food cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the angel food cake mix instructions.
- Combine the angel food cake mix and water in a large mixing bowl. Mix well until completely combined.
- Pour the mixture into an ungreased tube pan and bake according to the package instructions.
- Prepare the strawberries. If desired, toss the sliced strawberries with sugar to enhance their sweetness.
- Once the cake is done baking and cooled, carefully remove it from the pan.
- Serve slices of the cake topped with fresh strawberries and finish with a dollop of whipped cream.
Notes
