A delightful combination of chewy brownies and classic chocolate chip cookies, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 1 cup brownie batter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. Cream together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and softened butter until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract.
  3. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
  4. Spread half of the cookie dough into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Pour the brownie batter over the cookie dough layer.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining cookie dough over the brownie batter.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool before cutting into squares to serve.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce for an extra treat. Best eaten within 3 days, but can be frozen for up to 3 months.
