Homemade Spinach and Artichoke Dip

A creamy, cheesy spinach and artichoke dip that’s perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A squeeze of lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, take your fresh spinach and chop it finely.
  3. In another bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream; mix until smooth.
  4. To the creamy mixture, fold in artichoke hearts, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, and chopped spinach. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice if desired.
  5. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and smooth it out evenly. Top with remaining mozzarella.
  6. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  7. Once baked, cool for a few minutes before serving warm with dippers.

Notes

Serve with tortilla chips, vegetable sticks, or toasted baguette slices. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
