A creamy, garlicky, and tangy tzatziki sauce that elevates any summer gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (preferably full fat)
  • 1 medium cucumber (peeled and grated, ensure to drain excess moisture)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced, adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill (or mint, if preferred)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cucumber by peeling and grating it, then squeeze out excess moisture.
  2. Mince the garlic finely and adjust to taste.
  3. Combine the drained cucumber, minced garlic, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, and fresh dill (or mint) in a mixing bowl.
  4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper, adjusting to taste.
  5. Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving.
